baby naps, vol. 1

A little Memorial Day weekend project: spruce up this old table. I got it years ago from a neighbor down the street who was throwing it away, and I painted it, but it always looked...so-so. Then, in one of my random "wander Home Depot until inspiration hits" sessions, I came across Rustoleum Lacquer spray paint. Ah ha! What piece of furniture wouldn't look amazing in lacquered black, for an upgrade of only $2.99? So, the baby fell asleep, and I scurried outside to frantically spray paint my old trusty table.

Not too bad! I've been avoiding sprucing up the hallway for ages, and this killed two birds with one stone. One note, though: that Rustoleum Lacquer? Skip it. The nozzle was terrible and it dripped everywhere. Next time, I'll go with regular gloss black. Luckily, you can't see the drips unless you look for them. ;)
